A drummer from Fort Worth, Josh Hoover has been quietly home producing electronic computer music since the late 90s, later incorporating various hardware synthesizers, drum machines, and effects, particularly budget devices like the korg volcas and monotron space delay.

Following a move to Milwaukee in 2021, he focused on releasing multiple Hoovobot singles, EPs, and LPs on his own Common Synths Records.

Leaning heavily on sample based beats, creative sequencers, tape style loopers, copious reverb & delay, a mix of analog/FM/digital synthesizers; instrumental electronic beats of no particular genre just trying to catch a vibe. Ambient tape loop explorations. Boom bap chip house. It's Hoovobot.
